Sailing the Gulf Islands

Sailing and gunholing in the Pacific Northwest. Cowichan Bay, Sansum Narrows. Saltspring, Prevost, Saturna Islands to name just a few. San Juan Islands are just a hop away, but there is so much to see in our area that it will take me years to see it all. So, for the time being I will ramble on about the Gulf Islands.

March 2020 I moved to Salmon Arm, BC. A lot of water has flowed under the bridge since I started this blog. Hopefully I can recover my old stuff and get it updated . But I still say I have abandoned my search for truth and am now willing to settle for a good fantasy.

Fall......

Time to clean up the boat and get ready for winter. What a summer, hot, nice and dry, and no bloody wind. Not exactly a sailor's dream. Oh well, not always perfect is it? Stay tuned for further thoughts, pictures and adventures. I am just getting started rambling! Oh yes, I sail from Cowichan Bay BC with a 22' Columbia. Picture shows the next thing to look forward to, Christmas Lighted sailpast in Cowichan Bay.
